5 after showing that children are not free from rendering an account, the apostle paul goes on to stress the obligation of the parents before god: "and you, fathers, do not be irritating your children, but go on bringing them up in the discipline and authoritative advice of jehovah.

since parents will render an account for the way they bring up their children, the question arises: what is jehovah's discipline?.

Actually the WTS has been fair on this issue, qouting St Paul's words regarding child discipline. Never in my fifty years has the WTS encouraged anyone to humiliate their children in front of others. We will distract from the relevant issues, if we attack the W.T.S. with hyperbole or other nonsense! Lurkers are scared enough viewing these pages, looking for answers to their doubts, "lurkers" know Momma Org does not approve of hurting children, it's obtuse men and women who abuse their kids, or allow it to happen.

Examples would be "not divulging who the pedophiles are in the congregation", the most relevant issue that will hurt! Inept elders who forgot to call the police on "brother Chester" who loved little girls to sit on his lap, in field service and Mac Donalds" These is the meat of abuse!

Yahoo Answers" are the best place to fluff your field service time. I know of "ancient elderly" men and women, who spend the best part of their day, answering questions there. Who am I to judge, at least their not wasting fossil fuels! Don't waste your time on Yahoo Answers, your prey are scarce, old and can't hear a word your saying!

even though i've been disfellowshipped for several months now (looking forward to my 1 year anniversary).

i did have a brother contact me about one of my siblings who is still "in" and ask me personal questions about them.

he also shared with me a lot of personal info about my sibling that i did not know, obviously my relative shared this information with this brother in confident.. i felt like if my relative wanted me to know they would have told me.

The sad truth, is the R/F believe elders are able to keep their mouth shut, about confidential talk. Confidential talk, Gossip, Rumors are a hot commodity, giving the one who hears them, a rush and leverage! You have not seen "The Organization In Action", until you have first handedly seen elders blackmail each other. "If you tell on my daughter, I will tell the body about your wife's kinky sex toys". A clue, my God Jehovah is not backing men who are flipping him off, by sabbotaging his sheep as well as honest elders.

when i was younger (20s) i remember hearing an experience at a district assembly about a best-selling author who, in his book, wholeheartedly recommended employing jehovah's witnesses because they were honest, good workers ... etc.

it seems like he couldn't recommend jw's enough.

the speaker went on to read a page or two from the book, and stated it was a glowing recommendation from a 'worldly' author who regarded jw's very highly.

Frauds are nothing new to any religion, conmen find their ways to sell their books, services and fleece the sheep. A group of wicked JWs in San Fransisco, San Diego and throughout Orange County, were teaching the Dummies with money, that "Income Tax Is Illegal", bilking each knuckle head, out of $3500-$10,000 for their services (Brotherly Love Rate), what reproach was brought upon these honest men. Ponzi Schemes swiped the life savings of no small group, of elders, COs and other top brass. This took place in the 1993-1997 range, the brother was in the Bay Area. Cleaning out the life-savings of the elders and COs, how could JWs succumb to greed?

It's a fact there is a decline in meeting attendance, and the faithful elderly are using telephone lines, internet connections. The next group of JWs are elderly who have been treated like "Sh*&", abandoned by their Pharisee and Jezebel physical and spiritual children. Look at the sorry state of JW youth, with their inability to assimilate complex doctrine, and synthesize it in their brains? There is a good deal of JWs who don't know a great deal of what the Bible teaches, ask about one of the minor prophets ( what? huh? a spaced out look!), this with householders not wanting to debate, creates a group of Zombie Preachers (mental atrophy from lack of use). The Rolf Fururis, Greg Staffords, Hal Flemings are getting old, who will replace these aging scholars? Whether the previous men mentioned, are practicing Witnesses or not, In my circuit I don't know of any youth who are good JW apologists (age 18-29).

If the Society decides to bring in more teachers from Bethel, will they teach the Bible, or teach how to obey "man made rules"?

firstly most of us in the west are not aware of this very interesting character.

a self proclaimed brother of christ who at one stage actually had many thousands and millions of followers in china only 150 years ago.

the interesting point is his movment was about the time rutherford was young and it did not completely disappear until the early 1900s.

Why Elders leave the Organization and why their Wives stay.

i have talked to quite a few brothers who have served as elders and servants and left the organization.

in most cases their wives have remained in despite the husbands best efforts to persuade his wife that the organization is wrong.

even though the wife can see problems within they continue to press on in service to the society.

Elder Joe, works as a building designer, he makes $275,000 per year, gives his elderette wife a nice way of life. Elder Joe after twenty fives years of marriage, meets a nice secretary at work, he committs adultry and she won't take him back. His confession is too much for her to deal with, not just one extra-maritial affair, but many. Elder Joe is disfellowshiped, leaves his wife with little money, she ends up on Welfare, until the Court forces an equitable solution(If there is such a thing).

Elder Joe, now finds JWN and decides to teach his ex-wife,all the new insights he has learned from the Internet. Sister exwife, who received monetary help, a swarm of comfort from the sisterhood, free baby sitting and yard work. Do you think Elder Joe's new found insights from JWN and the web, will sway this sister on his side? He really tried to get his ex-wife to accept the Organization's short-falls, after pulling this sh(T on her. Other sisters who saw the love and kindness, are deeply impressed on this sisterly love, even though it is displayed to a few circuit players only.
